Round Rock Lifeguards Claim State Championship Title for Second Consecutive Year
The City of Round Rock Lifeguards participated in the 2024 State of Texas Lifeguard competition and made history as the first Round Rock team to earn a 1st place Championship Title 2 years in a row!
The Round Rock Lifeguards competed with lifeguard teams from across the state of Texas, all of whom had earned top 3 wins from their respective regional competitions to qualify to compete at the state level. Surrounded by the best of the best lifeguard teams in the state, Round Rock Lifeguards showcased their skills and teamwork as they responded to the competition’s scenarios and emergency situations. Team’s are judged on their recognition, response time, skill performance, teamwork, communication, and ability to work under pressure in responding to multi-layered scenarios and mock rescue situations.
